Description

This was the 332nd Fighter Group which had escorted the 15th Air Force from the occupied part of Italy. These fighters escorted the bombers into Austria and over the border to Germany. This cover art was originally commissioned for a book of an alternate history called Russian Amerika by Stoney Compton and then I converted it into this historical image of the brave Tuskegee Airmen.
